Statement by the Prime Minister on his meeting with His Excellency Dr. Luis Ernesto Derbez Bautista

Prime Minister Stephen Harper today issued the following statement after his meeting with His Excellency Dr. Luis Ernesto Derbez Bautista, Secretary of External Relations of the United Mexican States.

“I appreciate that Secretary Derbez has agreed to my request that Canada be fully involved with the investigation in Mexico into the murders of Nancy and Dominic Ianiero and this has been drawn to the attention of the Department of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness and the RCMP.”
