Public events for Prime Minister Stephen Harper for Saturday, July 1st are:

8:45 a.m. – Prime Minister Stephen Harper will attend the Canada Day Ceremony to honour Newfoundland/Canadian Veterans who gave their lives in the battles of the Somme and Beaumont-Hamel.

Prime Minister Harper will lay a wreath on behalf of the Government of Canada at approximately 9:10 a.m.

12:00 p.m. – Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Mrs. Harper and their children Rachel (7 yrs) and Ben (10 yrs) will attend the Canada Day celebrations on Parliament Hill.

Prime Minister Harper will bring greetings on behalf of the Government of Canada at approximately 12:30 p.m.
