Public events for Prime Minister Stephen Harper for Tuesday, December 12th are:

Today, a key piece of this government’s agenda, will receive Royal Assent. To mark this occasion Prime Minister Stephen Harper will attend the ceremony in the Senate as the Governor General gives Royal Assent and Bill C-2: The Federal Accountability Act, becomes law.

When: 5:15 p.m.

Where: Senate Chamber

Note:

There will be a photo opportunity of the Prime Minister, the Governor General and Senator LeBreton proceeding to the Senate Chamber from the Speaker’s office. (A line by line itinerary will be issued shortly)

Television cameras are not permitted in the Senate – please make arrangements with CPAC for coverage.
