PRIME MINISTER ANNOUNCES REPRESENTATIVES FOR CANADA AT STATE FUNERAL OF THE FORMER PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA

Ottawa, Ontario

Prime Minister Stephen Harper has asked Senator Gerald Comeau, Deputy Leader of the Government in the Senate, and former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien to represent Canada at the State funeral of the former President of Russia, Boris Yeltsin.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday, April 25 at Christ the Saviour's Cathedral in Moscow, at 2 p.m. local time.
