9:30 a.m. – The Prime Minister will welcome Afghan Women Parliamentarians who have been invited to the Conservative Party caucus meeting - one of whom will speak about her experiences as a parliamentarian in Afghanistan.

4:00 p.m. – Prime Minister Stephen Harper will deliver a brief speech and congratulate the award recipients at the Public Service Outstanding Achievement Awards ceremony. He will be joined by the Governor General of Canada, her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean.
