Public events for Prime Minister Stephen Harper for today, Friday, May 2nd are:

Burton, New Brunswick

3:30 p.m. – Prime Minister Stephen Harper will visit the flooded area in Maugerville and will meet with local volunteers and people affected by the flood. He will be joined by Premier of New Brunswick, Shawn Graham and Minister of Veterans Affairs, Greg Thompson.

Edmundston, New Brunswick

4:30 p.m. – Prime Minister Stephen Harper will meet with local rescue personnel, get an overview of local rescue efforts and will meet with volunteers and people affected by the flood. He will be joined by Premier of New Brunswick, Shawn Graham and Minister of Veterans Affairs, Greg Thompson.
